OOTD Blue and Coach Purse Review

Denim Vest: H&M...Black Tank: Marshalls $11.99...Black Booties: JcPenny $19.99... Purse: Coach Satchel $348

Summer may long be over..but I stumbled across this picture. This bag is no longer available on the Coach website but you will be able to find it on places like ebay.com under Coach Poppy Colorblock Flap Satchel. I love this bag, not to mention its my only blue bag!

The Review:
This bag is perfect for all seasons and the blue is very true to color. There is a front zipper pocket and a flap pocket on the exterior (which is visible in the picture). I love this bag, for my 4'11 stature, the strap to the big is a tad bit long. And another downfall..the leather is a soft leather and you have to be very careful because the bag is very prone to the scratching of the leather, not to mention that this bag doesn't have the bottom footsies..and is of silver hardware. This bag does seem to have more downsides that pros.. Although the color is beautiful I would recommend spending your $348 somewhere else. Sorry ladies :(

Double Forward Helix Piercing

When it comes to tolerating pain for piercings? Very tolerable, in fact, I like the feeling of getting a new piercing. I've had my tragus done twice. Conch Piercing. Multiple cartilage piercings. I've done my navel 4 times. I have my lobes pierced. And my last piercing is my double forward helix piercing. Ahaha..now let me tell you..

This baby right here, the double forward helix was by FAR the most painful piercing. The conch's pain rating is 2/10 and the tragus a 5/10. I usually have problems with healing all my piercings because of scar tissue buildup (hyperthropic scarring). The scar tissues go away within a week of using a salt solution..but my helix piercings which I've had for about 3 months is taking a ridiculously LONG time to heal. It's not as painful, but my ears were purple and inflamed for weeks! (Don't even think of cuddling with your boyfriend on that side of your ear -___-;). My piercing is almost done healing, but this was also the only piercing that bled when I got it pierced and the level of pain? Let's not even go there..was a whopping 9/10. Not even my first tattoo on my ribs was that high.

For those thinking about getting any piercing please note that everyones pain tolerance is different and what might hurt for one person will not hurt for the other and vice versa.

Caring for your piercings:
-Its recommended and from experience is best to use a dial soap, and please no alcohol or peroxide. It kills both the bad and good bacteria (which is needed in the healing process.)
-If you are prone to scar tissue formation use a warm salt solution twice a day, it should dry it right up! DO NOT skip days (it will only prolong the need to use the solution)
-BE CAREFUL when you shower/change because your hair or clothes can get caught on it..and make sure none of your drunk girlfriends grab your face around the ear area..it really hurts..

Cost: The cost will be different depending on where you go and who you get it done by. These piercings are not offered at places like Piercing Pagoda or Claires, they are mostly done in tattoo parlors.
-Tragus $50
-Conch $60
-Both Helix Piercings $60 (for both, $30 e/)

H&M Lipstick Review and Swatch

Now a days there is an array of lipsticks from your favorite brands like Maybelline, MAC, Dior and much much much. But wait, it is not your favorite clothing stores with the cute high waist-ed shorts and crop tops that is making your soon to be favorite lipsticks. At only $5.95, you can have your top notch lipstick too, with pigmentation and long lasting color..from where? None other than H&M of course ;]

I chose an array of 3 different pinks..pinks would be what I'm drawn too.. @-@
From Left-Right: Darling Pink. Diva Bride. Pink Fool

Andddd here are the swatches (From top to bottom):
*Darling Pink: Almost a Corally Pinky Color. Good for everyday use.
*Pink Fool: Remember Barbie? Yep! Her lipstick color.
*Diva Bride: It's a magenta.

All lipsticks have a matte finish and last for hours. It looks beautiful with lipgloss over it and even when you drink your daily coffee, your lipstick does not need a touch up. The best part? Pigmentation is buildable which is a plus for those who want a settle color.

I say this is definitely worth your $5.95, especially with the high color selection and quality of your product. Love em :3

Sephora Haul

I had decided to shop online at Sephora.com and pick up some value kits that I found of interest and stumbled upon these..
.
.
.
Josie Maran Nourishing Argan Matchmake Complexion ($64):
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this set. It is well worth the price!! The argan oil works wonders on my acne scars and makes my skin feel so dewy and healthy, also the oil does not cause any breakouts :), and the oil itself is the full size!! The foundation is phenomenal, as well as the illuminater, which works really well for highlighting the bridge of your nose and works as a very natural eyeshadow!
.
.
.
Tarte Awaken Your Complexion in Light ($32):

I have yet to use the oil, but the concealer is wonderful. It matches my skin perfectly and covers my acne scars very well. The translucent powder also complements the concealer, but I wish the powder came in a bigger container :(. The concealer brush is very soft and works well without irritating my skin.

A plus to the Tarte cosmetics.. ANIMAL CRUELTY FREE.

And the wonderful samples received from Sephora. Thanks :D

Side Notes:
Unfortunately, I believe the Josie Maran Value Set is no longer avaliable, but there is a new value set that has been put up on their website as well.

Black Michael Kors Large SELMA Satchel

This is the Black Michael Kors LARGE SELMA Satchel that I will be reviewing today. I had purchased this satchel about 2-3 weeks ago and is still avaliable at all MK stores. This bag runs for $358.00 USD, and was a little under $400 with tax.

This is what the bag looks like with the zipper closed.

This is the satchel with the zipper compartment open. It's a pretty decent sized bag, and can carry a magazine without it being crinkled up inside. Great for college students and women who tend to carry an abundant amount of junk in their bag.

The back of the bag. This bag contains all gold hardware

The bottom feets of the MK bag. It has Michael Kors written on the feetsies. Very classy and elegant. It also helps protect the bottom of the bag from damage.

I'm 4'11 and this is what the bag looks like on me. It's not overwhelmingly big and the straps are the perfect size for those who are short like me.

My overall thoughts on this bag is, its a must and I've been lusting over the Prada Saffiano tote but it's obviously way out of my budget, I find that this bag is a great alternative to those who can afford it. The bag is chic and classy and comes in a wide variety of colors. Perfect to dress up an outfit or keep it casual, this bag is very versatile. The leather seems very durable and strong, not flimsy. I would rate this bag a 9 out of 10, only because the con of this bag is, especially since it's black I have to be careful that I don't get white marks on this bag. Hope this was helpful :)
